Hi,
I'm building a 4lanes tyco racing track.
The layout is based on Riverside USA, but in a sort of "mirror" version. It lenght is above 12.50meters.

For the power supply, I use a 14volt 8amp pro power supply, with fuse :

And I painted some indications for marshalling in the corners (using "standard colors in competition). The same colors are used for the controlers plugs , and for the racing software.

For lapcouting and timing, I use Slotrace manager, the best software around (in my opinion). Don't be fooled by the DOS graphics, it's the most precise, fast , ergonomic and usable software I tested. And, as it's running under DOS, I can setup a race in less than 30seconds, without using mouse.

Here's some pics of the track, on the current state of building :

I made the borders in foam, hardened with PVA glues (3 coats) and black acrilyc paint (2 or 3coats). I made 3 power tapes on the track. I use 45ohm parma controllers, but I'll swap the resistors to 60ohm ones soon, in the next weeks I think.
Next step : I'll have to paint the mouting screws of the track, and then I'll start the scenery, wich is my favorite work (and, actually, sometimes my "real" work : http://demether.scenics.free.fr )
I'll post the next steps soon, I hope.
regards,
dimitri
ps : BTW, here's a main view of my slot room :

I have a 3lanes 1/32 track in progress too, but I works is quite slow, since I prefer to work and race on the h0 one <img src='http://www.h0slot.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
